NCIDQ, ASID, LEED AP
Cindy is an NCIDQ certified interior designer, professional member of ASID and NEWH, and the principal designer and owner of SDG. She is a member of US Green Building Council and a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design – Accredited Professional. Since starting SDG 30 years ago, Cindy and her team have received numerous awards for their design work. Community outreach projects include Silver Key Senior Services and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Beth, an NCIDQ certified interior designer, started with SDG over 20 years ago as a design intern. She was originally inspired to be a designer from a high school interior design class taught by a teacher who wore gold shoes. Beth received her Associates of Applied Science Degree from Arapahoe Community College.
Tara is an interior designer from the Mitten State of Michigan, excited to now shift her focus from the Great Lakes to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. She received a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree from Central Michigan University with a major in Interior Design and a minor in Industrial Technology. Tara is an outdoor enthusiast, a photographer, a cat mom (but not a “cat lady”), and she thrives on coffee and sunshine.
Noelle is an NCIDQ-certified interior designer and the 5th generation of her family to grow up in the small town of Bishop, CA next to the Sierra Nevada Mountains. She earned her BFA in Interior Design from Oklahoma Christian University and received numerous awards for her work in Oklahoma for over a decade before relocating with her family to Colorado Springs. Noelle loves the impact of interior design and the positively influence design can have on people both emotionally and physically. She feels most in her element when she is outdoors hiking, paddle-boarding, or bouldering in the warm sunshine.
Kimberly has a combined passion for architecture and interior design. Her love for art began while oil painting and drawing in art class during grade school. Over the years, her love for art evolved into a deep enthusiasm for design, where she relished weaving together the physical environment with the emotional effects a space has on one’s wellbeing. She currently holds her Associates Degree in Interior Design and is pursuing a BFA in Interior Architecture and Design. She plans to obtain her NCIDQ and Architect license as soon as she can. Outside of design, Kimberly loves to spend her free time with her daughter, her spouse, and their family.
Allison grew up in Northern Colorado and is thankful to now call Colorado Springs home. Art and education have always been a strong influence for her, and she received her BFA – Painting and her BS – Interior Design from Colorado State University. She enjoys collaborating with the design team to bring creative solutions that make clients’ spaces both functional and beautiful. Outside of work, Allison spends her time creating abstract acrylic / watercolor paintings. She loves experimenting freely in her painting practice with design principles like contrast, balance, and movement. If she’s not painting or designing, you’ll find Allison practicing yoga, or hiking and paddleboarding with her partner and dog.
Melissa is the Client Services Associate at SDG. While she considers Colorado Springs home, she is quite prepared to visit the islands of Greece by boat, if the opportunity presents itself. Melissa enjoys working with project photos, interacting with clients, and all-things budget related.
Chris Senger leads business development and operations for SDG. With a background in business development for large corporations in entertainment (The Walt Disney Company, ESPN/ABC, and FOX), he brings a unique perspective and insight to the design team. Chris recently joined SDG after several years in team-building, where he helped companies improve communications and build camaraderie. In his free time, Chris enjoys performing improv, emceeing events, and exploring the outdoors.
